"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29 ESV

Now this is a picture I can relate to! Not only does it have flowers, the girl is wearing a dress to match. It is whimsical, and light and outside. The rain has stopped here, and we have had a few good days in a row. Thank God, He is the sunshine when the sun doesn't shine!

Thank God for His grace. Without grace none of us could stand before God or know anything about Him. Grace says we can come to Him without any fear or concern of judgement. Grace is what brought Jesus to the cross. He was determined to have grace reach us.

Once and for all He took the judgement for our sin. It isn't fair, one would have to die for all, but He didn't care about fairness. He cared about us being with Him for eternity. I am forever glad and I could never praise Him enough to equal how wonderful His sacrifice was. All of our praises put together could never match or be enough.

Not that we shouldn't praise or thank Him! We should never stop  thanking Him as this helps us to come into His presence. Corporate worship especially draws us into the throne room of the Almighty. This is one reason we are told not to stay alone, but to come together at least once a week to worship and hear the Word of God.

Grace is something we can forget about in our busy lives.  It is necessary for my words for sure. The right words spoken in the right moment can bind wounds, heal hurt and pain. How hard this can be at times. We all want to say the RIGHT thing, and sometimes it is beyond our understanding to know what is right.

As we read God's word and pray He molds our hearts and teaches us how to say what's right. Prayer immediately in a situation also can bring the right words. God wants to help us with such things. How gracious and loving He is to give us words in a situation when we are stuck.

I was with a Mom recently who was suffering through a desperate situation with her daughter. I couldn't think of anything to say to this girl, even Hello didn't come out. I thought afterwards maybe nothing was better than anything  else I could have said.
